Description

The MMR Performance intake kit for the N55 engine removes the inherent restriction found in the OE airbox setup when raising the performance output of the N55 engine for models such as M135i, M235i, M2, 335i, 435i.

The aluminium intake pipework is mandrel bent from a single piece to provide unobstructed airflow to the engine, whilst the dual-entry MMR Performance cotton gauze air filter works effectively to provide a marked improvement to induction noise, whilst providing excellent filtration properties.

To ensuring maximum cool air reaches the engine, the OEM cold air feed location is retained and attaches to the new MMR lower base, which also forms an effective heat shield around the cone filter element.

The main induction pipework is coated in our proprietary anodised finish and boast plenty of detail, such as the billet CNC machined rubber-mounted fixing points which allow for engine movement and prevent unnecessary NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness).

Installation is possible in a matter of minutes and is fully reversible with no cutting or permanent modification required.
