What Is The Difference Between Custom & Generic Remaps?

Our custom remaps are designed to meet your specific requirements which are suited to you & your vehicle, they are tailor made. Generic remaps are a "one size fits all" remap & are not specific to your needs.

Can The Process Be Reversed?

Yes. All original & New ECU Settings are backed up & saved. So should you require the car to be set back to standard, then this can be done.

How Long Does The Process Take?

The process of remapping from start to finish takes approx 1.5 - 2hrs to complete.

What Is A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)?

A DPF is found on most modern diesel cars. The DPF collects smoke & soot particulates from the exhaust system. DPF's can clog up when the vehicle is used mainly for short journeys or the regeneration process deteriorates, this causes poor engine performance. Also DPF's are a costly item when then need replacing. DPF vehicles can be remapped but with smaller gains.

What Is DPF Removal?

When a DPF has been removed, the Engine warning light will come on & Engine Safe Mode will apply (Limp Mode). When the DPF is removed, more gains can be had from a remap & improved driveability. To combat the Limp Mode & engine warning light, we can remove the DPF fault code from the ECU without any faults.

Will Remapping Affect My Vehicles Warranty?

It is very difficult for vehicle dealers to trace a remap within the ECU. Should the remap be found it may affect your warranty.

Is Remapping Safe?

There are tuners that use files that are not always safe for yor car & work outside safety limits of a vehicle causing premature engine wear or serious engine damage. Our remaps are safe & we work within the safety limits of all vehicles. As we operate form a fixed address you can be safe in the knowledge that we are here for any technical queries and backup, unlike some untraceable mobile tuners.
