What is Remapping?
ECU Remapping is the reading & writing of information from the vehicles ECU which is then reprogrammed with specialist tuning software to enhance the drive-ability.
Remapping is done via the vehicles OBD (on board diagnostic) port. But not all vehicles can be done this way & the ECU may need to be removed from the vehicle for the programming to be carried out. Remapping is also known as 'chip tuning'. All of our remaps are custom remaps.
Both original & modified ECU settings are saved & backed up. So should you require your vehicle to be reverted back to original ECU settings, we can do this for you.
